As a kid after school many of my spare quarters and some of my lunch money would go into one of these machines.
As time went on, I’d be lucky to find another MvsSF anywhere near me. So when I do find one you can believe I throw a few dollars worth of tokens in for old times sake.
So sorry I’ve been MIA, just been reliving some childhood memories.
Anonymous asked: how would you spend your last day here? What would you do if you were invisible for one day, but you couldn't make any contact with anyone in anyway? With unlimited resources, what one good deed would you choose to grant upon the world?
id spend as much time by the ocean as possible with the people that matter to me.
if i was invisible for a day id probably go to the whitehouse and learn secrets.
i would eliminate money in an attempt to eradicate social stratifications so everyone would realize that they are actually equal.
my dishwasher takes forever. fuckin hell
Most people in this day and age probably would have turned and ran right out of that good ol’ boy’s bar, but not Davis. He stayed and talked with the Klansman for a long time. “At first, I thought ‘why the hell am I sitting with him?’ but we struck up a friendship and it was music that brought us together,” he says.
That friendship would lead Davis on a path almost unimaginable to most folks. Today, Davis is not only a musician, he is a person who befriends KKK members and, as a result, collects the robes and hoods of Klansmen who choose to leave the organization because of their friendship with him.
